In Canada worker have so many rights at their place. Canada government provides a lot of standards and rights to workers for examples - Employent standards, Health and safety in the Workplace and Human Rights.
Employment Standards- each province and territories has employment standards that set the minimum standards that employers and employee must follow. It includes lows on minimum hourly wages, hours of work, annually vacation, statutory holidays, lay-off procedures and severance pay.
Health and Safty- all workers in Canada have the right to work in a safe and healthy environment.
Human Rights- there are federal, provincial and territorial laws that protect workers from being treated unfairly by employers because of their age,gender,marital status, disability or sexual orientation.
