Do provide a summary section emphasizing your strengths and achievements. Do organize your rèsumè so that the most relevant information is at the top. Do bold sections to make your headings stand out. Do revise your resume and make it specific to each position you apply for. Don’t use the word “I”, include a personal profile, or photographs. Don’t exceed one or two pages, keeping the overall length short and concise. Don’t use extravagant fonts, several fonts, or multiple font sizes. Don’t include your references as part of your rèsumè. Check out these other great rèsumè writing resources: Monster Rèsumè Centre: Rèsumè tips, samples by field, covering letters, and more.
