Maple Syrupfest is a one-day event running from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. March 10 at the conservation area in the west end of King, 14125 11th Concession. It kicks off with a pancake breakfast then you can learn about maple syrup and its rich history.

Horton Tree Farms

This Maple Syrup Festival at the Horton family’s home farm, 5924 Slater’s Rd. in Stouffville, boasts self-guided tours, wagon rides, sap and syrup samples plus pancakes. Drop by on weekends from March 10 to April 8, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or book a group tour for 20 or more people.
