"Bridge training programs help qualified internationally trained individuals move quickly into the labour market in Ontario. They assess your existing skills and competencies, compared to Ontario employer expectations. They provide training and Canadian workplace experience without duplicating what you have already learned."

As a new immigrant I enrolled for a Coop Program. The 4-month long program comprised classroom training and volunteer placement at a Canadian organization. I recommend this program for new immigrants. It is a very good learning experience and has proven to be very educational for me.
