The Community Door concept hinges on the collective efforts of socially-focused agencies looking to combine resources and work together to better serve the community.

Join us as we work toward building a healthier, more vibrant community.

10 not-for-profit agencies across Peel Region have joined Community Door and we are actively seeking new member agencies.

Canadian Mental Health Association: CMHA is a nation-wide, charitable organization that promotes the mental health of all and supports the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental illness.

Centre for Education & Training: TCET is a not-for-profit, progressive corporation with differing locations throughout the GTA. We enhance the self sufficiency and effectiveness of individuals and organizations by offering customized education, training and career resource solutions.

Collège Boréal: an applied art community Collège in Ontario since 1995. It is a French Speaking college offering programs in post secondary education, continuing education and employment services.
Le Collège Boréal est un College communautaire d’arts appliqués et de technologies de l’Ontario créé en 1995. C’est un établissement de formation et d’enseignement en langue française offrant des programmes d’éducation permanente et postsecondaire, de formation sur mesure et des programmes d’employabilité.

Family Association for Mental Health Everywhere (F.A.M.E): F.A.M.E offers support to familes where any mental illness is an issue by providing education, resources and coping strategies.

Family Services of Peel: A multi-service not-for-profit agency that delivers a range of preventive, counselling, crisis, advocacy and educational services that focus on promoting and enhancing the well-being of individuals, couples and families. Family Services of Peel is a community-based agency that works to strengthen families and individuals while striving for a supportive and responsive community.

Federation of Filipino Canadians: Unifying the Filipino community into one strong civic voice, providing opportunities for cultural sharing, heritage appreciation and social integration services, while leading the community to engage participation in activities to become well-rounded and responsible global citizens.

Peel Children & Youth Initiative: PCYI is a collaborative of up to 100 community partners that will develop a comprehensive approach to planning and capacity building through practice, system and public policy changes that produce positive outcomes for children and youth living in Peel.

Peel Senior Link: Provides personal care & home-making services. Peel Senior Link maximises independent living-helping seniors live with dignity, stability and safety.

United Way of Peel Region: Serving the communities of Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga since 1967. Through its Community Fund, United Way invests in services, programs and initiatives that develop resilient people, grow strong families, and build vibrant neighbourhoods and communities. The mission of United Way of Peel Region is to engage with the community, through partnerships, to ensure people are cared for, connected and included.

Volunteer MBC: Promoting and supporting volunteerism in an effort to connect all people to meaningful volunteer opportunities.
