Events Assistant - Summer Student Summer Student Position: 35 hrs/week The Peel HIV/AIDS Network (PHAN) is committed to serving
diverse people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and to decreasing the
transmission of new infections through education, support, advocacy and
community engagement. The Position Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with
other staff and volunteers, the Events Assistant will assist the agency to
increase awareness of PHAN’s events and activities within the general public
and specific communities – primarily within the Peel Region. Key Responsibilities:
Qualification and Skills:
This position is funded by Canada Summer Jobs and
requires that applicants must,
Salary: $14-$16.00 per hr Commitment: 35 hours/week for 8 weeks starting
between June 27th and July 4th, 2016 Posting Deadline: Friday June 17th, 2016 at

Online Communications Assistant Summer Student Position: 35 hrs/week The Peel HIV/AIDS Network (PHAN) is a non-profit, community
organization founded in 1993. We are committed to serving diverse people living
with and affected by HIV/AIDS and to decreasing the transmission of new HIV
infections in Peel Region through education, support, advocacy and community
engagement. The Position Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with
other staff and volunteers, the Online Communications Assistant will assist the
agency to strengthen social media practices and to increase our communication
and engagement with the general public and specific communities – primarily
within the Peel Region.
