A trip to remember, August 23 to 25, 2019 from a family that was not familiar with camping. We gathered for our first camping experience.

Day 1

Around 4:00pm that day, we checked into the Highland Pines Campground, located at 8523 Wellington Road 19, Fergus, Ont. Upon arrival, the family were busy putting up the tent that would be our homes for the next 3 days. At first, it took time to build our tent, but because of the cooperation of each family member, we finished on time. The first night was the coldest. In the middle of it, I heard a noise from the tent beside ours. The kids were crying, maybe because of the cold weather. I gave them a portable heater to help them feel better. In spite of the cold night, we still rested and relaxed.

Day 2

Full of excitement and fun, all the moms prepared foods while the kids were swimming, flying kites and playing basketball with all the dads. At night we got around the wood fire to do our favorite habits, singing together, sharing ideas and laughing.

Day 3

We enjoyed sightseeing while we went for walks in the trails. We enjoyed our first camping experience until the next time.
