Bios

I was born in Syria, but I lived in Saudi Arabia for 30 years. I have a Master's degree in Biomedical Physics from Saudi Arabia. When my daughter Rana got accepted to study in Canada we went with her to try to see how life is in Canada. However, it was hard to have a new life somewhere in the world you have never been to.

I have five children: a girl and four boys. One of my goals is to be good in English like my kids and to help them if they need me for anything.  Also, another goal is to join a lot of things in the community like cooking, crafting and more. I learn English because I'd like to get a good job and be able to communicate with people from all over the world.  I also want to see different cultures. l need to be a good English speaker because it is an international language.

I want to do my best and improve my English to help me start studying in Canada and for better control in my daily life. I also would love to know more about Canada and life in Canada from someone who has lived here for a while. For all these reasons I am happy to be in Canada. I feel free and accepted here.
