Bios

My name is Mariam. I was born and grew up in my Jerusalem (Palestine).  After I finished high school, I completed my education in Birzeit University in Civil Engineering. I faced many challenges when I studied in the University, but I overcame all the obstacles and after five years, I officially become a Civil Engineer in 2010.

I started working after graduation. I worked as a Designer Engineer (structural building). I left my job when I got married and traveled to live in Canada with my husband in 2018. I came to Canada on July 20, 2018.  At first, I didn’t like it because I missed my family, my job, and my friends.  But after that, I liked it especially when l spent more than one year in this beautiful, cold, amazing and wonderful country.

Now I want to complete CLB Levels through Home Study, and I am waiting for my first child.  After that, I want to study Engineering Management in university.
