Canada

canada and egypt flags as puzzle blended into eachother

There are many differences between life in Canada and Egypt. I was not sure what the differences are until I moved to Canada two years ago, so now I can clearly see these differences.

Let’s start from the language difference. In Egypt, they speak Arabic while in Canada they speak English and French. There are few people in Egypt who speak English. They manage to understand people who speak English there from different countries who came to Egypt to visit Ancient Egypt or to visit Red Sea while in Canada it is hard to see somebody speak Arabic.

Second thing and one of most obvious is the weather. In Egypt, weather in summer is very hot as temperature gets up to 50 degrees but in winter the temperature is not that bad 25-30 degrees, so it’s same as the summer in Canada.

The third difference is the traffic. I found Canadian traffic more organized than traffic in Egypt. In Canada, everyone has to respect the traffic rules otherwise he will be fined, but in Egypt it is completely different .Sometimes you could break the traffic rules and there is no punishment or fees you have to pay.

The last difference I have seen is the population. Canada population for all provinces is 35 million, while in Egypt it is 105 million. Therefore I found Canada to be a quiet country, also everything is more organized than Egypt.

There are lots of difference between life in Canada and Egypt in all aspects of life but I have only mentioned the few points that were very clear to me from the time I moved to Canada.
