Winter 2015

Canada

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - June 22nd, 2014: A summer evening on Toronto Islands as the sun goes down

Last Saturday, I went to Toronto Island Park with my family. It was a big island. There were three docks on the island, Hanlan's Point, Centre Island and Ward's Island. We chose to go to Centre Island first.

My two sons loved to play with the sand. The sand was soft and I lay on it to see the beautiful sky, to listen to the sounds made by the waves. To me, it was a wonderful morning.

After playing football for a while, we rode our bicycles along the lakeside. Whilst riding, we saw many different sailboats on the lake, we found groups of eagles flying in the sky, and we identified some plants along the road. My family felt it interesting although we felt a little tired.

On Centre Island, both the fair and the petting zoo were my children's favourite. To adults, maybe BBQ was their favourite.

At last, we walked to Ward's island to take the ferry and went back home. What a nice day, today!
