Celebration

students wearing graduation caps - view from rear

It was my last term at university when my professors asked us to do a presentation for graduation. My friend and I decided to do it together. It was the last step before graduation. My friend and I researched for the whole last year of our course. The last week before the presentation was mixed with happiness and worry; we were happy because we had waited for this day for a long time and worried because of the stress and tiring work. We gathered information about common questions which professors usually asked by searching on the Internet and asking graduate students. After that, we organized ideas by creating a PowerPoint file and added some important information to help us during the presentation. Also, we divided the sections and started practicing at home, which was very helpful for me because of my family's comments and encouragement. Furthermore, we invited some relatives and friends to share with us our special event. On the day of the presentation, we were very stressed while we were waiting for our turn, but when we started presenting, everything was fine, and we did an interesting presentation. All the professors enjoyed our explanations from the start of our talk to the end. After we finished presenting, the professors talked to each other and one of them said, "Congratulations and welcome to the world of engineering", and the audience all stood up and started clapping loudly. My parents looked so proud and my friends came to the stage carrying flowers to put the hat of graduation on my head. I have no words to describe how I felt when I realized that the dream that I had dreamed for five years became a reality. Those moments I have never forgotten. It was one of the most beautiful days in my life. It was really a day to remember.
