Celebration

Every culture celebrates every year a variety of feasts. As for me as a follower of the Islamic religion, I only have two religious holidays in the year. The first is Eid al-Fitr, which we party for three days. The second holiday is Eid al-Adha that we celebrate for four days and it comes after two months and ten days of the month of Ramadan. We wear the best clothes we have and visit friends, family and neighbors. We offer our guests the best types of desserts, chocolates, candies. Everyone offers and serves their family according to their physical and financial abilities. Children love the holidays because they wear new clothes and take “Eidiya”, a sum of money from their parents and relatives, and they teat a lot of sweets. Adults also are very excited at these holidays because we all bond and have fun together.
