Global climate change has bad effects on the environment, so we should have awareness of what to do to reduce climate change. And this is what Greta has been starting to do. Greta Thunberg is sixteen years old from Sweden. She addressed the world leaders at the 2019 UN Climate Action Summit held in New York City. She started with her message that we will be watching you. She was speaking about the climate change. She blamed the leaders around the world because people are suffering and dying, entire ecosystems are collapsing. Those leaders just said empty words and they care about the money. She asked them how dare you? You have stolen my dreams and childhood with empty words. She also said that for 30 years the scientists have warned of the danger of climate change. Last week, she came to Montreal to share with the Canadian people in a Global Climate Strike.

She inspires a lot of children and young people around the world to do something to help the environment and she brings attention to a lot of people to know about climate change and the causes of it. I hope all people around the world start working to save our plant from the bad effects of global climate change.
