fresh salad olivier

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium sized potatoes
  • 3-4 carrots
  • 4-5 eggs
  • 350 g ham or bologna
  • 450 g canned green peas
  • 5-6 pickles
  • 5 green onion
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • 250 g mayonnaise (preferably homemade)
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Wash the potatoes and carrots with a brush and boil in salted water until tender.  Boil the eggs separately. Peel and cut into cubes.  Cut the ham in the same size cubes.

Step 2

Mix all ingredients and add finely chopped green onions and dill.  Season with black pepper.  Fold in mayonnaise and refrigerate.

Step 3 

Cut pickles into cubes of the same size. Put into a separate container.  Drain the liquid from the peas and transfer the peas to the container with pickles. 

Step 4

Before serving, add pickles and green peas to the salad.  Mix the salad again.  Enjoy.
