Speaking of the race dimension, I grew up in West Africa in perfect security and confidence where my skin colour had never been questioned. So, I had never cared about my race but ever since I came to Canada I am surrounded by racial information and racial categorization. In Canada, I had my first contact with the racial question during my first recruitment process where I had to be identified myself as visible minorities and this will be my new reality. In my mind I do not define this as a limitation but as part of the diversity. However, I began to be aware of all the challenges regarding my racial category.
