Naqsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan, Iran

I’d like to talk about my hometown, about the city that I was born in and I grew up. I'm from Iran,a big, old and traditional country in the Middle east - a beautiful land with four seasons, and two famous seas in the North and South ( Persian Golf & Caspian sea). In this beautiful country there is a big and traditional city whose name is Esfahan. This city is well known as the City of Turquoise Domes! The reason for this name is the existence of a large number of mosques. In our culture each mosque should have a big, blue dome so, if you look at Esfahan from the nearest mountain you will see lots of big, Turquoise Domes with very nice designs. Esfahan has a big river in the middle of the city that many beautiful old bridges were built on , and there are lots of picturesque parks around this river that can attract many people from all over the country.

People in my city are very hospitable; actually this is an adjective fit for all the Iranian people. Once they see a foreigner who is visiting our country, they will come to him or her to say welcome.

Hope you have time one day to visit Iran, and also my city, to see such a beautiful scenery
