Self-Improvement

mic on stage

I had great difficulty learning professional vocal singing. I chose singing as my major when I was 14 years old. I was good at studying other subjects such as math, literature, science, and history, even PE, so I had never thought I would have difficulty learning singing. However, the result of the singing exam was terrible. If I think about myself at that time as a teacher, nobody could find my real problem. I mean, no teacher could seize my technical demerit.

Fortunately, I was very positive about myself and never gave up my dream. It took a long time. The moment I felt comfortable singing was just when I studied in Russia. That means I had struggled almost 10 years to find real success. My Russian professor had a clear idea to solve my problem. During that time, a lot of friends and teachers advised me to change my major to a more practical one for the future. I don't know why I was so stubborn not to listen to their advice, but as a result, I overcame it and enjoy my life.
