LIFE spelled out with blocks

My name is Mimouna. I'm from Algeria. I was born in Tissemsilt a small city in the west of my country.I lived there until I finished high school. My primary school was across from my house. I was so small but very strong. For example, I used to give orders to all my classmates. At home, I was a very happy and a lucky girl because I lived in a big family, with my brothers, my grandparents and my parents. Each member of my family loved each other and we gave support to each other. I used to love my grandparents' stories. I miss them now because unfortunately, my grandparents died.

When I was 19 I moved to another city not far from my city. I studied there for 5 years to become a vet. I loved animals and I loved to practice my profession with them. After that, I returned to my city where I worked for 1 year. I didn't like this job because it was in an office. I didn't like to work in a closed place. I left this job before I met my husband and we decided to get married.

My husband was a permanent resident of Canada so I came to Canada with him. This was a difficult choice for me but I did this because he is the man of my life. I didn't think a lot about Canada before I came because I thought I will live with my love. I was sad because I had to leave and live far from my family.

Now I live with my husband and my 3 children. My 4 year-old daughter is very intelligent. She asks a lot and remembers all of the rules of our house. My 2½-year old son is full of energy. He can't stay in one place for more than 2 minutes and he is smart too. My 4 month-old baby is the angel of the house. I feel so happy when I see his beautiful smile. My husband has a big heart. He is the best man in the world.

My future dream is to live on my own farm and produce healthy foods for me and my family. I think this is important because I'm not happy about the food we get from the grocery stores, I think our food today has too many chemicals. For example, the milk and the meat are products are full of hormones and antibiotics. I want to protect my family from these toxins.

I feel lucky because I have a beautiful life with a wonderful family. I hope it will continue to be.
