Travel (Outside of Canada)

Probably, all working people dream of taking a long vacation after a hard year of labour. In my native country, we have a very hot summer and most of the workers prefer to take a holiday exactly in this season. Most people spend their holidays inside the country and do not go abroad. The end of July and the beginning of August are the most popular periods for trips to the coast of the sea. As usually, people should ask their bosses about a vacation two weeks before it. The most comfortable way to get to the sea is by a train. Ukrainians like to spend the summer holidays on the Black Sea or the Azov Sea. Also, recently tourism to the Egypt and Turkey is getting very common.

Also, in September we have period that called "Babyne Lito". It is a period of about two weeks with nice and soft weather. It is very lovely to spend this time on the sea, when the water is still warm but the sun is not so hot. Another holiday option is going to the beautiful Carpathian Mountains. This is also an excellent choice. In the Carpathian Mountains, tourists can do leisure activities such as hiking, biking or picking mushrooms. Many people visit the Carpathians for treatments for their health by the mineral water. Some people like to spend their summer vacation in their gardens. This is because, the summer is the time to pick different fruits, vegetables and berries.

As for me, my favourite holiday season was the summer. I had about 34 vacations days per year and I enjoyed spending them near the sea.
