Delicious chocolate cake on the wooden surface. 3d render

Ingredients:

Dry ingredients:

  • White flour - 2 cups
  • White or brown sugar - 2 cups
  • Cocoa powder - 3/4 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking soda - 2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp

Wet ingredients:

  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
  • Eggs - 2
  • Vanilla - 1 tsp
  • Hot coffee - 1 cup

Frosting:

  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 1 cup
  • Sour cream - 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder - 1/2 cup

Preparation:

Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a big mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, mix all wet ingredients, except hot coffee.
  4. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Slowly add hot coffee and mix again.
  6. Let it rest for 5 minutes
  7. Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake approximately for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Frosting

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy and the sugar granules completely dissolve.
  2. While beating, add sour cream and cocoa.
  3. Continue to beat until mixed well.
  4. Slice the completely cooled cake in two layers.
  5. Apply frosting on both layers.
  6. Dust cocoa powder over the top of the cake.
