Vintage, old ship floating in the ocean floating on a moonlight night starry sky background. Adventu

Yesterday I watched, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tale." Before I watched the movie I had low expectations because I did not like the movie before it. The beginning of the movie I found very predictable, Captain Jack Sparrow was still careless and drunk. When they introduced Captain Salazar and his undead crew, I became intrigued. The graphics of the undead characters were fantastic and I found the undead interesting.

Throughout the movie I was anticipating the moment when the main characters would find the island where the Trident of Poseidon was hidden, and I was not disappointed. When they arrived at the island the first thing we saw were all the sparkling stones and gems; the whole island was covered in treasure. When the missing piece was placed in its correct spot the ocean split into two and the trident was revealed! When the ocean split into two I was amazed, it was unpredictable and exciting. I enjoyed the Trident's design, I found it unique and cool.

By the end of the movie I felt attached to the main characters and enjoyed the character growth. I learned new things about the characters individually and I felt compassionate for them. I felt thankful that all the issues were resolved and the story line came to a comforting close. This movie has resparked my interest in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I am looking forward to their next movie.
