Photo of church in Montreal

Finally we took a mini trip to Montreal!

This spring to summer was extremely busy for my husband’s job. Therefore, I decided to make this plan.

We both have never been in Montreal. I really looking forward to it.

My husband and I packed up the train and started our relax trip! The view from the window was a beautiful countryside, since weather also very nice. It took four hours from my station to Montreal.   I rent a car and booked a spa hotel in Morin-Hight. My husband drove Montreal to Morin-Heights when we arrived there. The place is west of Saint-Sauveur and north of Lachute. There were Ski Mountains, a picturesque village and outlet shopping malls. A lot of people were jogging and cycling. Our hotel had Asian style couple of the hot water spa, fresh cold water, dry sauna and steam sauna. We absolutely loved the place! We enjoyed spa, peaceful place, very quiet, clean, and beautiful nature there.  Soaking lazily in a hot spring refreshes one both physically and mentally.

The next day, it was not enough time to see everything where we wanted to go. But we spent a majority of our time in the Notre Dame and Basilica. It was one of the most beautiful place I ever seen it. Stunning paintings and stained glass showing the history of European. Even we visited small church downtown area, it was amazing place to go to.

We enjoyed to walk around downtown. It was walkable and fashionable city! Also there are so many European-style historical building around there. My friend recommended smoke meat restaurant. We don’t eat meat so much. But it was fantastic meal and I enjoyed it.

My husband said “We should make a plan again, I love this trip!”. It made me very happy to hear that.
