The most frequent question that had been asked to me after I finished high school exams fifteen years ago, and got high grades. Therefore, I qualified to study engineering more than study the art and science of nursing. However, I think that nursing as profession is beneficial and valuable.

First of all, there are high demands of certified nurses among healthcare workers to perform their duties based on knowledge and skills, under consideration of quality standards.  Nursing consists of science and art, which are expressed through strong knowledge about diseases and interventions, and skillful manipulation of instruments and material, in addition to correct decision making during case management. Because of continuous demanding of nurses at health care settings, statistics shown low unemployment rate in comparison to engineering that suffering from limited projects and funding issues as well that makes a negative impact on rising unemployment crises.

Second, my passion in life is helping people, and making them feel better.

Fortunately, nursing actions support my willingness by delivering health care, promoting wellness, disease prevention through conducting education sessions to patients and their family. On the other side, engineering deals with concrete materials and measurements rather than contact people in needs. Doing things under my conviction made me very satisfied.

During the battle of life, you will experience struggles regarding career selection, the nursing profession is my own career that assists me in achieving my goals of being work, and spreading much of my hopes and supports to people.
