Kiev City - the capital of Ukraine

My family and I have lived in Canada for five years. Last year, my youngest daughter and I went to Ukraine. The flight was very long. First, from Regina to Toronto, then from Toronto to Amsterdam and finally from Amsterdam to Kiev. We flew out on Wednesday at 5:30 pm and arrived on Thursday at 10:00 pm. All the seats in the planes were occupied. There were many children of different ages. This flight was fun, noisy and not forgettable.

My mother and brother and many relatives and friends live in a small city near Kiev. At the Kiev airport we were met by my brother and we went home. It was late at night but my mouther was waiting for us impatiently. We had not seen each other  for four years. Our arrival was the best gift for her eightieth birthday. My mom was very happy. We were glad to see relatives and friends .

My daughter was in a children's camp for one week. There were children from other countries at the camp. She made a lot of new friends. She had a good time.

Kiev is the capital of the Ukraine. I really love this beautiful city. We looked at many different museums and galleries. In Kiev, there are many beautiful parks and a large botanical garden. My daughter really liked the zoo. We walked along the old streets of the city. My daughter was fascinated by this city.

It was sad to leave at the end of the trip.
