Cuban sea

Santa Lucia is a small Oceanside town, located north in the city of Camaguey, Cuba. The first settlements were around the 1940s. Currently, the population is around 3000 inhabitants. It has more than 20 km of beautiful white sand and calm sea, due to the extensive coral reef. This reef is the longest one of its kind in the western hemisphere. The beach is known for the 35 scuba diving sites, which have sunken ships, some from the 19th century and an amazing underwater flora and fauna.

Santa Lucia is a tourist area with a beautiful natural environment. There are more than 1000 rooms in 4 and 3 star hotels, there are swimming pools, volleyball and tennis courts, jacuzzi, shopping centers, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, taxis and much more options for visitors to enjoy their stay in the place.

There are also some water sports, such as scuba diving and shark show, snorkeling in reef coral, windsurfing.  Many staff like to ride a bike along the coast and enjoy the view of the sea that in some areas is frequented by pink flamingo colonies.

Considered the longest beach in Cuba and visited by many foreigners from all over the world, Santa Lucia is considered a tropical paradise, where you can enjoy a unique and pleasant climate. If you visit Cuba, do not forget to visit Santa Lucia.
