Fruit and milk jelly on plate isolated on white

Ingredients:

  • Sweetened Condensed milk: 2 cans
  • Sugar: 100 g
  • Gelatin:  4 tbsps.
  • Vanilla Essence: 2 tsps.

Directions:

  1. Pour the condensed milk into a pot and then add water using the same condensed milk can as a measurement. Add 2 cans full of hot water (not boiling water) to the condensed milk and start cooking over medium-high heat.
  2. Add one can full of hot water to 4 tbsps. of gelatin and set aside.
  3. When you cook the condensed milk mixture make sure to keep stirring it;  otherwise it will burn.  Keep your heat at medium.
  4. Add the sugar and vanilla essence to the mixture and keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  5. Once the sugar is dissolved, add the gelatin to the mixture.
  6. Keep stirring until the mixture bubbles up/comes to a boil and then turn off the heat.
  7. Now the fun part begins:
  • Separate the mixture into 5 different bowls
  • Add your choice of 5 different colours. Normally, I do the rainbow theme, so I go with the colours yellow, orange, red, green and blue
  • Now take a bowl, tray or whatever you desire to put your dessert in
  • First add the yellow mixture to the bowl or tray and refrigerate that until it sets. Normally it will take about 30-40 mins
  • Once the yellow mixture is set, add the orange mixture on top of the yellow mixture and allow it to set in the refrigerator
  • Once the orange mixture sets, add the red mixture and refrigerate.
  • Repeat the steps and finally you will get a nice and delicious RAINBOW PUDDING
