The weather in Canada is completely different from the weather in my home country especially in winter. 

The winter season in Canada is very long. It can last almost five months from November to March. The weather in winter is too cold and it snows a lot. When it snows, it covers everything with the white colour, the roads, the houses and the trees. You can see the snow everywhere and sometimes it snows for three or four days nonstop.

My first winter in Canada was full of snow. It started so early in November, 2014 and it was the heaviest snowy winter for the last 10 years as some friends told me. The second winter was the coldest winter in last 30 years .After that I got used to this weather.

Driving in winter is not easy because of the snow which makes the roads slippery. We have to use winter tires to avoid slipping on the roads. Also, we should take extra care during driving and never drive over the speed limit or use the brakes strongly.
