Technology

Mailing a letter (hand)

When I was a child, my family did not have a telephone in the home.

Before installing telephones in each and every house my great relatives used to go to the post office because only the post office had one telephone which was used by everyone.  People talked to each other in a very hard way, because not everyone had a phone.  Can you imagine that?

If someone needed to call another person, they had to go to the post office first and from the post office, the worker would tell the receiver’s family that they will have a phone call a few hours later. It sounds really complicated, because now we have instant messaging, snap chat, etc. right?  But, in days gone by, many years ago, we communicated differently.

I'm very glad I was born in this new technology era, where amazingly technology develops and changes very fast and this is truly remarkable.
