Nepal is a very small country located between India and China in South Asia. Nepal has a population of about 26,000,000 and is the 93rd country in terms of population. Nepal has different national parks and ancient temples made of woods. Nepal is a diverse country rich in geography, culture, religions and traditions. It also contains the world's largest mountain which is Mt. Everest, or as we call it Sagarmatha. It also contains eight of the 10 world’s highest mountains. Most people in Nepal are farmers, and they grow rice, wheat, corn etc. People in Nepal are very polite and hardworking. Nepal has always been a special place for various people across the world. It is known for its exquisite natural beauty with the iconic Himalayas running across the Northern and Western part of the country. Apart from natural beauty, wildlife diversity is a notable feature of Nepal. There are eight national parks, four wildlife reserves and two conservation areas protecting and preserving a large variety of plants and animals. Wildlife tourism is one of the major sources of tourism in the country. Nepal is equally rich in its art and culture. The cultural heritage of Nepal has evolved over the centuries. The art and culture have been influenced by the religious beliefs, norms, and values of the country. One can find fine pieces of art in various parts of the country. The two most typical forms of art are painting and sculpture. Moreover, Nepal is a secular state having multicast, religion, and culture. There is no discrimination or conflict among people regarding different religions and cultures. Nepal is the perfect example of unity in diversity. There are religious tolerance and the feeling of brotherhood among people. They celebrate their festivals in their own way and live their own lifestyles. They respect each other’s customs, norms, and values. Nepal has a history of people adhering different religions living in harmony. Our own unique and traditional culture have identified us as Nepali. I feel proud to be a citizen of Nepal. We Nepali people respect each other.
