Seasonal

The springs in Canada and in Vietnam are different.

The spring in Canada could be very cold sometimes. We still wear coats, mittens, hats to keep ourselves warm, as the temperatures could hit minus twenty degrees. I think the spring in Canada is beautiful and we will enjoy snow by playing games with young kids, like snow angels or skiing and skating. Day by day, the trees grow and start to sprout.

In North Vietnam we have four seasons but in the southern parts it is warm. The weather there is either rainy or sunny.  When the spring comes in South Vietnam, we don’t see many trees change gradually, as they are always green. Also spring is the season for New Year’s greetings and family reunion for all of us. Everyone is busy shopping, cleaning houses and preparing for new clothing. On the streets there are beautiful lights on the trees at night.

In short, I love the springs both in Canada and Vietnam because each country has its own characteristics and I embrace the variety as always.
