On Monday, May 7th, I went to Toronto to meet someone. When I arrived I went to a car rental office and rented a car. Then, I went to the Richmond Hill area for an interview and after I finished the interview there, I went on a tour of Toronto. At 1 pm I felt hungry and I went to a restaurant, parked the car, entered the restaurant, ordered food and sat down to eat.
After a quarter of an hour, someone rushed into the restaurant and shouted, “There’s a terrorist out there who is running over pedestrians on the sidewalk!” I was curious and went to the door of the restaurant to take a look, and then I saw a big white van turn from the opposite street and hit the electric pole. It then continued on its path and I saw it hit some pedestrians. At that moment, I closed the door of the restaurant and went to where the customers were in the rear of the restaurant.
Half an hour later, I went out the back door and went to my car and I left the area to go to the car rental office and returned the car. Then, I went to the bus station and took the bus to my city where I live and went home.
