Seasonal

This summer we’re planning to enjoy our new city. Here in Campbell River there are many places to go:   the beach, mountains, lakes and a lot of trails for a nice walk. Maybe we will visit some new places around Vancouver Island or go across the ocean to the mainland. We’re planning to enjoy the beautiful city of Victoria as we have in the past.  All of my family loved this city. The weather is nice and there are always things to do there. 

My husband is saving most of his vacation days for our trip to Chile. We’re looking to spend Christmas with our family and enjoy the hot days of the Chilean summer. We want to spend around a month there this time.

When we get to Chile we are thinking of doing some trips up north. My youngest sister lives there and my kids want to visit their cousins. We could visit my nephew. He and his family live around 5 hours from my sister’s house, more in the north near Antofagasta city.

Close to Antofagasta is San Pedro de Atacama; it is one of the places that I really want to discover. There, you can find the cleanest sky in the world to see the stars. Some of the most important observatories in the world are there. I told my kids about this place and they want to know more about it.  My son Gabriel is passionate about space.

The tourist Valle de la Luna is another place to visit around Antofagasta city.

My sister was there this summer and said it was amazing but expensive too. It will be a place to visit and enjoy.

In conclusion, these are our plans for this summer; now we are just waiting for the travel season to begin!
