ambience
the qualities and character of a particular place and the way these make you feel

ample
more than enough

anesthesiology
the branch of medicine concerned with anesthesia and anesthetics.

azure
having a bright blue colour like the sky

commemorate
to do something to show that you remember and respect someone important or an important event in the past

compulsory
something that must be done because it is the law or because someone in authority orders you to

convey
to communicate or express something, with or without using words

crazed
behaving in a wild and uncontrolled way like someone who is mentally ill

creepy
making you feel nervous and slightly frightened

crystalline
very clear or transparent, like crystal

excursion
a short journey arranged so that a group of people can visit a place, especially while they are on holiday

genetics
the study of how the qualities of living things are passed on in their genes

governess
a female teacher in the past, who lived with a rich family and taught their children at home

henna
a reddish-brown substance used to change the colour of hair or skin

horticulture
the practice or science of growing flowers, fruit, and vegetables

incentive
something that encourages you to work harder, start a new activity etc

mast
a tall pole on which the sails or flags on a ship are hung

materialistic
concerned only with money and possessions rather than things of the mind such as art, religion, or moral beliefs

milestone
a very important event or step in the development of something

minstrel
a singer or musician in the Middle Ages

mist
a light cloud low over the ground that makes it difficult for you to see very far

predisposition
a tendency to behave in a particular way or suffer from a particular illness

preventive
intended to stop something you do not want to happen, such as illness, from happening

scammer
someone who deceives you in order to get money from you

slog
(n) a piece of work that takes a lot of time and effort and is usually boring

windsurfing
the sport of sailing across water by standing on a surfboard and holding on to a large sail attached to the surfboard
