Here is some vocabulary from this edition. Do you know what the words mean?

tailored
 made or done specially for someone’s particular need or situation

ample
more than enough

astrologer
someone who uses astrology to tell people about their character, life, or future

auspicious
showing that something is likely to be successful

casino
a place where people try to win money by playing card games or roulette

claustrophobic
a strong fear of being in a small enclosed space or in a situation that limits what you can do

compulsory
something that is compulsory must be done because it is the law or because someone in authority orders you to

Cottage
a small house in the country

doable
able to be done or completed

doleful
very sad

enticing
something that is enticing attracts or interests you a lot 

exaggeration
a statement or way of saying something that makes something seem better, larger etc than it really is

fair
(n) a form of outdoor entertainment, at which there are large machines to ride on and games in which you can win prizes 

fancy
(v) to like or want something, or want to do something

fertilize
to put fertilizer on the soil to make plants grow

frenzy
a state of great anxiety or excitement, in which you cannot control your behaviour

genocide
the deliberate murder of a whole group or race of people

grumpy
bad-tempered and easily annoyed

hardship
something that makes your life difficult or unpleasant, especially a lack of money, or the condition of having a difficult life

hefty
big and heavy

indelible
impossible to remove or forget

inherent
a quality that is inherent in something is a natural part of it and cannot be separated from it

lush
very beautiful, comfortable, and expensive 

patriotic
having or expressing a great love of your country

planetarium
a building where lights on a curved ceiling show the movements of planets and stars

plumber
someone whose job is to repair water pipes, baths, toilets etc

postpone
to change the date or time of a planned event or action to a later one 

prune
(v) to cut off some of the branches of a tree or bush to make it grow better

roam
 to walk or travel, usually for a long time, with no clear purpose or direction

rockeries
part of a garden where there are rocks with small plants growing between them

scam
a clever but dishonest way to get money

sciatica
pain in the lower back, hips, and legs

seraphic
extremely beautiful or pure, like an angel

shopaholic
someone who loves to go shopping and buys lots of things they may not need

tentative
not definite or certain

undermine
to gradually make someone or something less strong or effective

vigour
physical or mental energy and determination

villainous
evil or criminal
