a strong pleasant smell

buddy
a friend

a meal at a party or other occasion, in which people serve themselves at a table and then move away to eat

to have an extremely strong desire for something

flaunt
to show your money, success, beauty etc so that other people notice it

hub
the central and most important part of an area, system, activity etc, which all the other parts are connected to

immortalize
to make someone or something famous for a long time, especially by writing about them, painting a picture of them etc

influx
the arrival of large numbers of people or large amounts of money, goods etc, especially suddenly

insomnia
sleep disorder that can make it hard to fall asleep, hard to stay asleep

jagged
having a rough or pointed edge or surface

pebble
a small smooth stone found especially on a beach or on the bottom of a river

pertinent
directly relating to something that is being considered

prestigious
admired as one of the best and most important

primitive
belonging to a simple way of life that existed in the past and does not have modern industries and machines

resourceful
good at finding ways of dealing with practical problem

restrained
behaviour that is calm and controlled

scenic
surrounded by views of beautiful countryside

staycation
a holiday that you spend relaxing at or near your home rather than travelling somewhere else

thriving
very successful or flourishing
