adorn
to decorate something

aspiration
a strong desire to have or achieve something

canoe
a long light boat that is pointed at both ends and which you move along using a paddle

comfy
comfortable

corruption
dishonest, illegal, or immoral behaviour, especially from someone with power

culinary
relating to cooking

customize
to change something to make it more suitable for you, or to make it look special or different from things of a similar type

dainty
small, pretty, and delicate

decency
polite, honest, and moral behaviour and attitudes that show respect for other people

dusk
the time before it gets dark when the sky is becoming less bright

entice
to persuade someone to do something or go somewhere, usually by offering them something that they want

folklore
the traditional stories, customs etc of a particular area or country

freckle
mall brown spots on someone’s skin, especially on their face

henna
a reddish-brown substance used to change the colour of hair or skin

housewarming
a party that you give to celebrate moving into a new house

igloo
a house made from blocks of hard snow or ice

indomitable
having great determination or courage

intern (n)
someone, especially a student, who works for a short time in a particular job in order to gain experience

lucrative
a job or activity that is lucrative lets you earn a lot of money

patriotic
having or expressing a great love of your country

picturesque
pretty and interesting in an old-fashioned way

prioritize
to put several things, problems etc in order of importance, so that you can deal with the most important ones first

profit (n)
money that you gain by selling things or doing business, after your costs have been paid

reputable
respected for being honest or for doing good work

resilience
the ability to become strong, happy, or successful again after a difficult situation or event

rhythmic
having a strong rhythm

routine
the usual order in which you do things, or the things you regularly do

serene
very calm or peaceful

trail
a rough path across countryside or through a forest

transferable
able to be moved from one place or position to another
