My name is Irina. I was born and raised in Kazakhstan in the city of Karaganda. It is not a big country, on the south side it have the mountains, on the north - forest, on the western side locate the Caspian Sea. I was lived in central part of country where there are only steppers and low hills, hot summers and cold snowy winters.

During school years we are often moved so I changed three schools. My favorite subjects were biology and literature. I very like reading and real hardcover books and I always dreamed write my books. I never have a lot of friends, but I have a lot of books.

After finishing school, I entered to the university in the Faculty of Social Adaptation and Pedagogical Correction and got a bachelor's degree in Defectology. I chouse this direction because I meet girl who studying in this program second year. She tell my about the program about practice and subjects. There wasn't only pedagogical subjects but medical also. We study anatomy of human, neurophysiology, pathophysiology, genetics and diseases and much more. I was under impress and decided also take this program. I soon realized that teaching was not my cup of tea, but medical sciences fascinated me.

My student years were very interesting but at the same time it was a very difficult period. I was married my husband was student also, my first child was born. My husband and I, we studied together. When I defended my diploma thesis, all the teaching staff of our department babysat with my son. So, my diploma belongs to my son also.

Than my husband and I decide to immigrate to Canada.

And since this moment it became long way to our goal. We started preparing everything for each criteria because we had only children, diploma and mortgage. We had nothing only desire and faith that we can do to it. From idea to implementation, we spend 14 years. I was difficult time because our relative and friends doesn't understand us and somebody even openly mocked us. But we didn't give up and on August 2022 we came to Canada. We started building our life from scratch and we believe that everything will go very well.
