Would you like to know why I moved to Canada? It was because of my friend. She highly recommended that living in Toronto is awesome so I decided to move. The first thing that I did was to apply for a working holiday visa right away. However, at the time, I couldn’t speak even one word in English, but I was excited to go to Toronto. Then, I collected money and studied English for a year. After 6 I learnt English language a little. Therefore, I flew for Canada. When I first arrived in Toronto, it seemed quite peaceful and free. It was so difficult to live without any family support but I didn’t want to go back to Korea. To sum up, It’s already been 6 years living here and everything has improved compared to the beginning. Living alone sometimes makes me depressed, but I have some friends who feel more like a family and I feel Canada is my home more than Korea eve though I have many goals to achieve.
