Labor Day in Canada is celebrated on the first Monday of September. For many, it feels like the "worst day" because summer is ending, but it is also a special time to rest.
People usually spend the day with family and friends, enjoying barbecues, good food, and relaxation. This year my husband had a day off, so at the start of the day we went to the lake and enjoyed the sun. After that, we stayed home, grilled some meat, and just relaxed together.
It's a peaceful day with no rush, where you can recharge your energy. I think Labor Day is a great chance for every worker to rest, resort, and get ready for the new work year and school season. I really enjoy these Canadian traditions.
