Celebration

Yes, my home country, China, has a national day called National Day of the People’s Republic of China. This day celebrates the founding of the People’s Republic of China on October 1st, 1949. It marks the moment when the Chinese people established a new government after years of struggle, and it is a symbol of unity and national pride.

It is celebrated every year on October 1st, and the celebrations often last for a full week, known as the “Golden Week”. Many people travel during this time, visiting family or sightseeing across the country. In Beijing, the capital, a huge flag-raising ceremony takes place in Tiananmen Square at sunrise, attracting thousands of visitors.
