I come from a Colombian, medium-sized family. My parents got married 60 years ago in Colombia. My mother is 77 years old, and my father died four years ago. We are five siblings, four women and one man. I am the younger sister. My mother has 10 grandchildren, seven boys and three girls. I have one sister-in-law and four brothers-in-law, two nieces and two nephews.
I have been married for 20 years. My husband and I have six children, five boys and one girl. We arrived in Canada in 2019, lived in Mississauga for four years, and have been living in Beamsville, Ontario, for the past two years. My husband is working in a flower company.
My oldest son is 24 years old. He lives in Mississauga. He's in college studying child education, and he works as a waiter in a Greek restaurant. My 17-year-old daughter is in high school, finishing 11th grade. This summer, she will be working for the first time in her life, and she will be working at a summer camp. My 12- and 10-year-old children are finishing sixth and fourth grade. My five-year-old son is finishing kindergarten in preschool, and my one-and-a-half-year-old son is at home with me.
Finally, I am studying English, and my current job is being a housewife, but in the future, I hope to enroll in college so I can study, become certified, and practice my profession in aesthetics, beauty, and cosmetology.
