PERUVIAN CEVICHE SEBICHE. Peruvian seafood and fish ceviche with maize

The “ceviche de camaron” it’s a typical dish of Ecuador, it’s very easy to prepare, it’s delicious, fresh and ideal for any occasion. In some parts of Ecuador, the recipe changes a little but the flavor is similar.

Ingredients:

  • Whole shrimps - 200 g.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Tomato - 1 pc.
  • Green pepper - 1 pc.
  • Cilantro - 5 g.
  • Lemon - 5 pcs.

Instructions:

  • Cook the shrimps in hot water for around three minutes (save the water for later).
  • Chop the onion, tomato and green pepper in thin strips.
  • Get out the juice of 5 lemons and mix with the vegetables.
  • Chop the cilantro and add the mix together with the shrimps.
  • Complete the mix with the water of shrimp (this is the secret).
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

You can eat it with fried plantain, mustard, and ketchup.
