A jar of fresh tasty buttermilk on a wooden table

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 2 cups of water
  • 4 small onions
  • 2 green chilies (you can increase the spice level by increasing the number of green chilies)
  • 1 small piece of ginger.
  • a few curry leaves.

Cooking instructions

  • Put onions and green chilies, some curry leaves and small piece of ginger into a small food processor (using a motor and pestle if available, will be better). Chop them into coarse pieces. Make sure it does not turn into a paste.
  • Take yogurt in a bowl and add 2 cups of water into that. Stir well. Then add the chopped mixture and mix well. Add enough amount of salt according to taste.

Now it's ready to drink. It is a healthy drink, especially during the summer season.
