Modern gym interior with sports training equipment on rack

I started going to the gym last month. It has been such an amazing experience.

At first, I didn't know how to use the machines, so I felt a little shy. A personal trainer was very friendly and showed me how to warm up. I had to do leg stretches, leg swings, high knees, butt kicks, and walk lunges before using a treadmill. It was important to open and close my hips beforehand. Now I usually go two or three times a week, in the evening after work. I like to run for fifteen minutes, then do exercises for my legs, arms, and back. Altogether it's two hours each time. My favourite is lifting small weights around 50 lbs because I can see my muscles getting stronger and I am gaining strength. I put on some pounds but I look toned.

I also attend my yoga beginner class three times a week. I did poses like camel, dog, snake, It is one hour each time. It improves your flexibility and endurance. Sometimes I go with my friend or my daughter, and we help each other to do the exercises correctly. After hitting the gym, I feel fatigued but also refreshed.

I expect myself to be stronger and healthier, so I will continue going every week. I would not throw in the towel.
