My family visited Korea for 3 weeks this July. When we arrived there, it was very hot and humid. Actually, I was afraid about Korea's heat before I went there. Most Koreans in Canada might know about that. Unfortunately, I have no other options except for a summer visit because my daughter is in high school. She doesn't want to be absent from school.
Korea has had 4 seasons in the past. But now spring and autumn are getting shorter because of global warming. During my visit, the air conditioner was operating all day and all night because the lowest temperature was 26 late at night.
I looked for indoor attractions like museums, shopping malls, and towers and we had a great time there. I wanted to visit some traditional or trendy streets, but the heat was so bad that we couldn't walk outside, so I excluded them.
On the other hand, I wasn't bitten by mosquitoes. According to the News, they can't live in the heat. It is the only good thing for this situation.
Despite that, I need to visit Korea again to see my parents and other family members, so I hope this situation gets better.
