On the LINC Home Study website, there is a section called Canada. I really enjoyed reading the stories there. They are written by people who moved to Canada from different countries, just like me. These stories helped me understand more about life in Canada.

One story was from a woman named Chih-Chien. She came from Taiwan and moved to a city called Sudbury in Ontario. At first, life was hard for her because she didn’t know many people. But she said learning English and making Canadian friends helped her feel happy and included. I felt connected to her story because I’m also learning English and trying to meet new people.

Another story was written by Ratana from Cambodia. She talked about how everything felt new and different when she came to Canada. She didn’t speak much English and felt a bit lonely. But she took English classes and slowly felt better. Her story made me feel hopeful because I am also going through the same things.

Reading these stories made me feel like I am not alone. Many people go through the same challenges when they move to Canada. These stories gave me ideas and courage to keep trying and to enjoy my new life here.
