My name is Elizabeth. I am from Ethiopia. In my life, I have dreamed of moving to Canada. After 4 years, I got a visa with my son. Then, we came here. Our Canadian dream came true; then, I saw how many opportunities I have in Canada. And I am so happy. We have schools and work. My son got into school, and he got work, too. I got into online classes. But, the hardest thing for me is finding a job. My son got a job only after a month but for me, it was a different story. It took me a while to find a job, but at the same time I’m not complaining because finding a job at the present time is so hard for many people, but I am still grateful. I’m so happy I came to Canada. It is a nice country and I’m starting to fall in love with the place. My one difficulty is now speaking English. Hopefully, I will be fluent one day.
