Parenthood

Concept of family, protection of family, family rights, family health

Parents play a fundamental role in the education of their children. This is not just in the first years of life, also during their development. Education is not limited to the classrooms. Education is a continuous process that began in their home. It is for that reason that parents are the first and most enduring educators, who provide their children, values, life lessons and help children build self-esteem and confidence.

One of the reasons that parents are the most enduring educators is that they teach values. First, parents are the first people who transmit their children fundamental values that will guide their behavior during their life. For example, parents instill principles like respect, responsibility, honesty and love. As a result, parents being the first mentors have a great lasting impact that children tend to internalize and apply in their daily life.

Second, the reason that parents are the most enduring educators is that they can provide life lessons. This means that parents can teach their children to adapt to the different circumstances to resolve practical problems. Such as, time management, organizing their daily responsibilities and making decisions in unforeseen situations. That is why these lessons are essential to prepare their children for the challenges that adult life has.

Finally, the reason that parents are the most enduring educators is that they help children build self-esteem and confidence. In other words, parents are the base and the foundation that the kids can feel valuable and capable of facing the world. For instance, when parents provide their children constant support, recognizing their achievements and encouraging them in their failures, parents allow them to build a solid base on their self-esteem and confidence.

Moreover, this self-confidence will allow them to take risks, learn from their mistakes and continue forward with a correct and positive attitude towards challenges. In conclusion, the reason that parents are the most enduring educators is because their parents can help kids with values, life lessons and help children build self-esteem and confidence. All of these reasons have a direct impact in the children's life and help in their personal and professional development throughout their lives.
