Technology

These days, people rely on technology to build a relationship. I believe our relationships have been affected by technology as well because we are too relied on the technology.

Nowadays, we have known a lot of people around us but we have fewer close friends. For example, we can easily find our “list friend” in the social media Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, because we use them to connect with each other. However, not all of the friends are our close friends. In addition, people seem to have less face-to-face interaction because using of the technology. Instead of face-to-face, people use social media to communicate with people, such as online chat with friends.

Using social media to communicate has become an integral part of our lives and it is easier and more convenient for them to connect with other people. In my opinion, these changes are extremely negative for human’s health. First, people will feel lonelier if they spend time in their phone rather than with people. One of the studies have been shown that human need to have face-to-face communication or interactive to keep their emotional health. So, lack of communication would make people feel more depressed and lonelier. In addition, if people always rely on technology to communicate, they will gradually lose some important social skills. People frequently use emoticons or icons or stickers through online chatting. This ways of communication lacks proper expressions in our general communication, such as tone of expression or body language. In conclusion, Technology must be least used.

To conclude, people have been become more lonelier and have fewer close friends because of technology. I suggest that people should spend more time with other people instead of electronic devices.
